The Amateur Heralds Web Ring is open to all web sites offering primarily heraldic content with a view to educate and assist the public. The sites within the ring will be expected to provide helpful and accurate information about the subject of Heraldry (Coats of Arms). Commercial web sites will only be admitted at the discretion of the Ring Master but will only be so admitted if they are providers of services deemed suitable to the aims of the Ring (i.e. Heraldic Artists). “Coat of Arms for your Surname” merchants need not apply. This Ring is for heraldry enthusiasts and their websites. First and foremost this Ring welcomes amateur heralds and pursuivants who are willing to educate others about the wonderful art and science of heraldry. Other sites which feature strong elements of personal heraldry will also be considered favourably as sites of heraldic interest. If you feel your web site meets the above criteria, we would be pleased to welcome you as a fellow (amateur) heraldry enthusiast – do join us.
