VERY CROSS - 06/17/2007
I joined Webring a long time ago when at University. When I left I set up a newspaper and logged on to web rings and created a new ring called Local News through out the World. As of late I have been it with huge amounts of spam from webring and my email system deleted, two emails telling me I had two sites wanting to be added to my ring. Two sites I had booted some time back. I did not know this and logged on at add a site to another ring I had adopted only to find my ring had been put up for adoption. I had not been contacted and when I sent a question out to web ring asking for me to be reinstated to a ring I have maintained for years with out problems I was not contacted!

As of late the Web Ring site and been getting very bad. I am now looking at pulling all my clients’ websites from web rings and also my own. The lack of contact and the lack of sensible support are bad.

I have seen many people on this forum complaining ever since the new changes have been made. It is no longer a place that in my view worth being associated.

I am now only giving web rings a few days, before I recommend to all my clients to dump all likes with it. And that is a huge amount of clients!

Silly, but all this could have been avoided and still can, if they bother to contact me, or reinstate me as the controller of the ring I have built up. Silly thing is that it is not all that big as I have kept out the none relevant sites, up to now.
