I have also tried emailing WR Support on this problem
about 7 times with no response.
Just before the WR shakup was announced I managed 153 Rings.
Since the announcement of the paid system, Ring after Ring
I manage has been deleted from the WR system. The ONLY email
I have received from WR support denied that WR admin was responsible.
I would like to know if not the admin, then who? I just
went to my account to manage, and I am now down to 118
LISTED Rings. I say listed as some of the Rings in the
current list no longer exist!
A big clue is that one of the rings deleted was for the
support of the Paid for Action industry, and the rest all
seem to be Adult rings, particularly Gorean roleplay rings.
If anyone knows anything about why this is happening, reply
to this thread, please. I stayed with WebRing despite all
the Ringmasters and mistresses who left, but my patience is
wearing extremely thin, considering WR is not the only Ring
system in existence!
I know what you mean. I am getting very disappointed also and probably will not pay to be in 2.0 next year.
WR never responds to my emails and my Customer Service rep Lisa is rude and not very helpful.
Adult rings that "disappeared" were inactive. In fact the system deleted close to 1000, mostly adult, rings that had zero traffic or any other activity for a minimum of two months. We're sorry if that bothers you, but if a ring is not getting ANY traffic then it doesn't have much point.
Then WHY am I still getting notices to manage Rings that no longer
In addition; if the system deleted them, a HUMAN admin had to
set the system that way...
So why tell me something that obviously was not true when I first
