Apparently, WebRing decides on a whim how fast is fast enough and what is good enough. I check in once per day but do not visit each ring daily. If I had one or a few rings, I would check in once per week. I think webring is getting too picky.

You probably have to join and send in money.

I had read that posting before. Interesting that it says something would be posted on my "My Rings" page to indicate that something in my Rings needed managing. I've never seen any message to that effect. Might just be time to shut them down, I'm not convinced that they are really serving a purpose anymore.
