What has happened? - 12/14/2005
Dear WebRing,

Someone or something is screwing with the featured sites and ring order for several of my rings. No sites are being featured where I had two-three sites featured. (i.e. and and many more.

What is happening? How can this happen? Is this a system error or an evil hacker? Is there possibly a rogue WebRing technician in our midst?

My guess is that you all have no clue. OR doooooooo you??? :-)

It's almost a full-time job fixing errors that I have not caused here at WebRing. This is time that could better be spent enhancing and managing my rings.

Please advise ASAP!

Best regards,

During the change all of my featured sites were replaced with other sites that hadn't asked to be featured. I had to fix them all. They haven't changed since then, thank goodness! MonaLS

Here are a few more of my rings where sites were unfetured without any kind of notice to me;

The type of rings that have seemingly been targeted lead me to believe that this is NO SYSTEM ERROR!

Please advise!

Best regards,
